Our Catering Van gets awarded 5 Star Rating!!

Last week, we had a visit from the Food Hygiene Inspector of Cornwall County Council. We are very pleased to announce that we have been awarded a 5 star rating. This is due to commence on 1st May 2012. Food Hygiene and Inspection work on a rating of 1-5 stars, 5 being the highest! The Catering Van is used at many events in aid of the work that ESFRAC does.

The Mawla Charity Rally is upon us once again. Being held at Mawla, (between Redruth and Porthtowan). The post code for your safety in case of an emergency is TR16 5DW. The Rally is being held on 20th (EVE), 21st & 22nd April 2012.
Public entry is from 10am daily. The Rally field is open to all campers exhibitors and stallholders from Thursday 19th April (or earlier by arrangement).
Live Entertainment on Friday and Saturday night with a beer tent (at club prices). There is a fun dog show each day at 1:30pm. The Searchers Wild West Re-Enactment. There will be Various Vintage Vehicles on show. Raffles each day and Auction each evening. Children’s Rides-Trade Stalls-Car Boot. Hot food (from our 5 star rated Catering Van) and Ice cream will be sold.

Easter Social evening goes down a treat!

What a brilliant evening it was last Saturday.
A great atmosphere and great fun getting involved in the quiz and bingo! With Easter egg prizes and a lovely pasty supper!
Thank you to all who came along and contributed to the evening. All proceeds went to Curnow School with a total of £82.45.

Get Out There’s group visit to Alton Towers!!

In September 2011, ESFRAC donated a cheque of 500 pounds to help pay for a trip to Alton Towers for the young members of the Get Out There group.
The donation covered the cost of transporting to and from the theme park where the teenagers experienced the famous rollercoasters and hair-raising rides.
Emlyn said, “I am delighted to support the GOT group and such a fantastic local cause.”
“It’s important that GOT teenagers are able to enjoy the range of activities that young people experience.”
This just shows that the work and effort put in by ESFRAC and it’s supporters really does make a difference.
New Garden for 6 year old Adam.

Adam, age 6 from Redruth is enjoying the newly laid garden by ESFRAC.
ESFRAC have been working on the garden over the past few years terracing and finishing the garden in tarmac to allow wheelchair access for Adam.
Mawla Rally! What a Weekend!

The Rally last weekend was absolutely brilliant with many fun filled activities such as the dog show and The Searchers re-enactment with guns blazing!!
Even a bouncy castle for the children summed the day up for families and live entertainment in the evenings for those that stayed til late!!
Our five star catering van was a hit and the weather held out for some lovely Cornish ice cream from our very own Ice cream truck!
The final figure raised is yet to be announced, however, I will keep you updated.
Thank you to all those who helped and supported the weekend charity event! We’re now preparing for the Jubilee Rally which is a five day event! (watch this space)!
